Josh Bohui was a late substitute as England picked up their first points in the Under-17 European Championships after a 2-0 victory over France in Baku on Monday. Following a 2-1 opening game defeat to Sweden, Steve Cooper's side knew that anything less than a victory against The French would leave their qualifying hopes hanging by a thread. Ben Morris's first-half goal eased any nerves in the England camp and victory was secured just after the break as Reiss Nelson was taken out by the French goalkeeper inside the area: he saw red and Nelson picked himself up to net from the spot. 17-year-old Josh played the final few minutes as The Young Lions held on to earn an important three points.

England face Group C leaders Denmark in Baku on Thursday, 4pm kick-off BST, with a win guaranteeing Josh and England a place in the Quarter-Finals.
