Jake Bidwell made his 150th Football League appearance for Brentford in the 1-1 draw at Elland Road on Saturday. The left back reached the milestone after four years at the club, which has included two loan spells from Everton before his permanent switch in the summer of 2013. He made his league debut in a 2-1 win against Hartlepool United at Griffin Park on 10 December 2011, four days after his First Team debut against Barnet in a Johnstone’s Paint Trophy match at Underhill.

Out of the starting line-up against Hartlepool that day, only Harlee Dean, Sam Saunders, and Toumani Diagouraga remain at the Club. He has reached this landmark having failed to find the net so far. The club record for an outfield player making the most league appearances without scoring belongs to former full back Roddy Munro, who in 199 league appearances between 1946 and 1953, did not score.

Goalkeeper David Button is likely to make his 100th league and cup appearance for Brentford tomorrow at Middlesbrough.
