Brentford goalkeeper Jack Bonham will return to Brentford from Calor League Premier Division Arlesey Town.

The 20-year-old joined Arlesey on a Youth Loan in mid-November and a deal had been agreed to for him to stay with the Bedfordshire side for the rest of the season.

He has now, however, returned to Brentford and will be involved in upcoming Development Squad matches.

Jack played 19 games for Arlesey and kept five clean sheets.

He was also able to train with the Brentford goalkeepers and Goalkeeper Coach Simon Royce under the terms of his loan.

Mark Warburton, Brentford FC Manager, said: “Jack has made some good progress at Arlesey under the guidance of Rufus Brevett.

“He accumulated some excellent pitch time and learning in a senior match environment whilst continuing his daily training development under the tutelage of Simon Royce.

“There are a lot of Development Squad fixtures coming up over the next two months.

“Jack can play in those and get game time in a Brentford team, which will help his development.

“We can then see how he has progressed.

“I thank Rufus and Arlesey for allowing Jack to get this valuable experience.”

Jack arrived at Griffin Park in the summer after he was released by Watford.

He had previously been on trial with The Bees and signed a two-year-contract at Griffin Park.

Jack, who has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-17 level, made his Brentford debut in a Capital One Cup win against Dagenham and Redbridge in August and has played three games for The Bees this season.
