Jordan Henderson's England will face Croatia, Panama and Ghana in the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The Brentford midfielder is one of four Bees players whose country has already booked their place at next summer's tournament alongside Aaron Hickey (Scotland), Kristoffer Ajer (Norway) and Kevin Schade (Germany).

Play-offs

The six remaining places at the World Cup will be determined by the play-offs in March, with those teams assigned into groups during the draw.

Mikkel Damsgaard's Denmark are in the same play-off pathway as the country of Bees team-mates Nathan Collins and Caoimhín Kelleher, the Republic of Ireland, as well as the Czech Republic and North Macedonia.

The winner of that play-off (UEFA play-off D) will be placed in group A at the World Cup alongside hosts Mexico, South Africa and South Korea.

Yehor Yarmoliuk's Ukraine are competing in UEFA play-off B with Poland, Albania and Sweden.

The winner of that pathway will be in group F at the World Cup alongside the Netherlands, Japan and Tunisia.

Finally, should Rico Henry and Ethan Pinnock's Jamaica progress from FIFA play-off 1 - which would mean defeating New Caledonia and DR Congo - they will join Portugal, Uzbekistan and Colombia in Group K.
