Brentford scholar Kyjuon Marsh-Brown has received a full international call-up – to the Antigua and Barbuda squad.
The 17-year-old has been called up for a training camp before the Caribbean nation start their 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign.
Kyjuon will fly out to join the squad later this month and will spend two weeks with the group.
Former Brentford winger Myles Weston was part of a recent Antigua and Barbuda squad and Nottingham Forest forward Dexter Blackstock has also been involved for the Caribbean nation.
Antigua and Barbuda will play St Lucia in the Second Round of World Cup Qualification for the CONCACAF region, for teams in North and Central America.
The tie will be played on a home and away basis in June.
Kyjuon – who is in the first year of a two year scholarship with Brentford’s Youth Team – is the latest young Bees to get international recognition.
Josh Bohui has been part of the England Under-16 group this season, Harry Francis was called to an England Under-15 training camp and Ross McMahon was also called up for a Scotland Under-16 training camp.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford FC Academy Director, said: “This is more fantastic news for Kyjuon, the Academy and Brentford Football Club.
“Any international recognition is cause for celebration and for it to be a full international call-up is great for Kyjuon.
“All footballers relish the chance to represent their country and I am sure Kyjuon is looking forward to it.
“It will also aid his development as he will be training in a different environment and learning new things.
“It will be a chance for him to train with men on a daily basis and that will help him.
“I wish him all the best.”
Kyjuon has played 15 Under-18 Professional Development League Two South games this season, as The Bees have moved clear at the top of the table.
He has scored two goals.
