"It was good," said Lewis, speaking shortly after the final whistle at a rainy Hogwood Park. "As I've said before, it's just about getting the minutes in, I've done that today and the boys got their win so they will be happy with that.

"It's good to get back in those attacking positions and get used to playing in and out of possession, I'm happy with that."

Lewis got on the scoresheet as Kevin O'Connor's side beat The Royals 3-1. Describing his goal, the 23-year-old said: "It was just good play. I called Justin [Shaibu] to pull it back and it was a great pass, that made it an easy finish for me."

When asked about his condition and any future involvement in First Team football, Lewis responded: "I feel good, I feel as good as I can be. Hopefully I can get some minutes for the First Team now and I'm looking forward to that.

"Hopefully I can be in contention for the squad going to Cardiff. We've got a really good squad and we're playing really well so we just need to keep doing what we are doing."
