“Finally I got my first goal so I am very, very happy,” Justin told iFollow Brentford after the game. “I can’t even explain what the feeling was like. All this energy came out of my body and I am very, very happy right now. I had a good feeling: I felt like I hit it really well but I had to wait and see. When it hit the back of the net I was very happy. The supporters have been very good to me so finally I can give something back to them. Hopefully this will be the first of many.”

The hosts took an early lead through veteran defender Paul Robinson but Romaine Sawyers’ sent the game into extra time with a fine strike 20 minutes from the end. Ollie Watkins' first Brentford goal put Dean Smith’s side ahead before Justin capped off what he felt was a merited win.

“It was good to help the team settle after the goal and then cruise to the win,” said Justin. “We definitely deserved the win. The boys were very good today, especially after the first-half, and we deserved it.”

Justin joined Brentford’s B Team just over a year ago and struck ten goals in 18 appearances for Kevin O’Connor’s side last term, as well as making his professional debut, before being promoted to the first-team squad in the summer. He was part of The Bees First-Team training group to France last month and feels he has done a lot of developing over the last few weeks.

“It was a very hard pre-season for me as it is the first pre-season I have had without injuries,” revealed Justin. “I have got to know my body a lot better so it has been very good, as well as hard. I have learned a lot. Lasse Vibe has been very good to me, helping me with positioning and lots of other things.”
