Brentford’s April form earned special recognition for Henrik Dalsgaard. Brentford won four and drew one of their six games in the final full month of the season, part of a seven-match unbeaten run that was only ended at Barnsley last week. And Henrik, one of the key contributors to that run, was named in the WhoScored.com Team of the Month.
The football statistics website rates each player for each match and the performances of Henrik earned him a place in the monthly team. Henrik started all six games that Brentford played in April. The Bees kept three clean sheets in that time and only conceded four goals all month. The Danish defender also scored his first goal for the Club – the winner against Nottingham Forest at The City Ground.
Henrik is the third Brentford player to be given the accolade this season. Ollie Watkins was named twice – in December and December – while Lasse Vibe also got the nod in December. A full range of Championship statistics can be seen at whoscored.com.
