The Premier League's Primary Stars project is continuing to sho some of the ways it is helping schools. The Premier League's Primary Stars scheme provides free, flexible and easy-to-use curriculum-linked teaching resources for schools. Using the power of football, the programme offers a host of free resources to teachers and pupils to encourage youngsters to learn, be active and develop important life skills.
The project has released some more of what it is offering to schools. Resources include support with PE lessons as well as academic subjects. Football has been used to help with reading and maths topics.
A maths starter pack includes quizzes and using goal scorers to create bar charts. Football stadium sounds are provided to help young people know when their answers are correct. See more here and below.
