In Holland, Halil Dervişoğlu made his first Eredivisie start for FC Twente as they drew 1-1 at home to PSV Eindhoven. The 20-year-old striker returned to Twente fresh from four goals in two games for Turkey's Under-21s during the break. Donyell Mayan gave PSV an eighth minute lead but Danilo equalised from the spot just past the hour mark. Halil was withdrawn 13 minutes from time on his fifth appearance for The Reds. Twente remain fifth in the league ahead of a home game against RKC Waalwijk on Friday night.

Patrik Gunnarsson is still to taste defeat as a Viborg FF player following their late 2-1 win over Hobro. All the goals came in the final 20 minutes at the Viborg Stadion. Tobias Bech and Mads Hvilsom traded goals before Bech struck in the final minute to move VFF five points clear at the top of the table. Patrik takes a record of six wins and two draws from eight appearances into next Sunday's clash at home to second-placed Silkeborg IF.

Elsewhere on the continent, Joel Valencia wasn't involved in Legia Warsaw's matchday squad for Sunday's 1-0 win over Cracovia. The win sees Legia retake top spot with a visit to Widzew up next in the Polish Cup on Wednesday.

On home soil, only Arthur Read saw action among our loanees, playing 81 minutes of Stevenage's 2-1 defeat at home to Bolton in Sky Bet League Two. None of Jaakko Oksanen, Luka Racic, or Jan Žambůrek were involved in their respective squads as AFC Wimbledon and Northampton Town picked up Sky Bet League One wins while Shrewsbury Town conceded a 97th minute goal to lose 2-1 to Ipswich Town in the third tier.

There's a full slate of Tuesday action with Stevenage hosting Port Vale, AFC Wimbledon on the road at Gillingham, Northampton Town travelling to Rochdale, and Shrewsbury Town away at MK Dons.

In the Premier League, Saïd Benrahma was an unused substitute as West Ham United picked up three points at Bramall Lane thanks to Sebastian Haller's stunning long-range effort. Victory lifts The Hammers up to eighth with the visit of Aston Villa coming up in a week's time.
