Adam Forshaw’s long-range goal against Crewe Alexandra was named the 2013/14 Brentford Goal of the Year last weekend.

Brentford Football Club asked fans to vote for the prize, which was presented at Player of the Year Ball on Sunday, May 4.

Adam’s strike, from around 30 yards, in the 3-1 win at Crewe took the top prize.

Marcello Trotta’s goal in the win at Leyton Orient was second in the poll and Sam Saunders’ strike in the Boxing Day win over Swindon Town finished third.
