-       Oliver George Arthur Watkins was born in Newton Abbot on 30 December 1995.

-       Originally rejected by Exeter City when he was nine, Ollie joined The Grecians' Academy two years later.

-       Ollie scored 28 goals for Exeter’s Under-18s during the 2013-14 season as they became the first Exeter side to win the Football Alliance South West title.

-       That form was rewarded with a two-year professional contract in April 2014, a month before he made his professional debut in a final day win against Hartlepool United.

-       He scored his first senior goal at the Ricoh Arena on 7 October 2014, in a 3–1 defeat to Coventry City in the EFL Trophy.

-       Having made just three appearances during the first-half of the season, Ollie joined Conference South side Weston-Super-Mare on loan for the rest of the 2014/15 season. In 18 starts, Ollie found the net ten times for The Seagulls to steer them away from the relegation places.

-       The following season saw Ollie break through into the Exeter first-team. During the final 13 games of the season, Ollie found the net eight times, also contributing four assists. His crowning moment of the season came with two late goals in the Devon derby against Plymouth to secure a 2-1 win for The Grecians.

-       Last season, Ollie missed just one league game as Exeter made the Sky Bet League Two Play-Offs. He netted his first hat-trick in the 4-1 win over Newport County in December and ended the season with 16 goals and 13 assists in 52 games in all competitions.

-       That form saw him pick up a host of accolades. Two goals and five assists earned him the January EFL League Two Player of the Month award before he joined Dele Alli, Gareth Bale, Wilfred Zaha, and Nathaniel Clyne in winning the EFL Young Player of the Year award at the EFL Awards in April.

-       In total, Ollie made 78 appearances for Exeter, scoring 26 goals and contributing 17 assists during his time at St James Park.
