In a game which summed up the Bees first season in the league, promising a lot but falling short, it was Brentford who were always chasing the game.

Norwich took the lead after 3 minutes when the Canaries Bradley Fisher beat keeper Saki Shire to the ball on the edge of the 6 metre area to score.

Brentford were forced to defend a barrage of long thrown balls throughout the game from the champion’s keeper.

Despite this The Bees equalised 3 minutes before half time with an excellent team goal.

Brentford won the ball on the half way line before Brad Scott and Frankie Finn combined to set up skipper Mason Roseboom to tap home.

It was Norwich who went ahead after half time with Lewis Jarret slotting home from close range and shortly after Brodie Adams increased Norwich’s lead to 3-1.

Brentford again showed their quality when Finn rounded off another high quality Bees move with another tap in.

With 4 minutes to go, Brentford took a time out and decided to use the ‘fly-keeper’ (where the regular goalkeeper is replaced by an outfield player who then plays as a regular player but can still act as a keeper).

Brentford enjoyed some good chances but were almost punished a few times and despite this very attacking move, Brentford could not find a leveller.

The Futsal Bees now take a break for the Easter period and return to action on 29th April with an ‘A’ and ‘B’ team double header v Southend United.
