Ben Mee was Brentford's top FPL points scorer in Gameweek 14, after his sensational scissor kick in the 1-1 draw with Wolves.

He was named in the FPL Team of the Week and now has 51 points for the season, narrowly behind Bees team-mates David Raya (56) and Ivan Toney (70).

This week we head to Nottingham Forest without Toney, who is unavailable due to suspension, so the 19.7% of FPL players who have him in their teams will need to find an alternative.

Brentford

Mikkel Damsgaard

Mikkel Damsgaard - £5.2m

Mikkel Damsgaard impressed when coming on for Thomas Frank's side in the 1-1 draw with Wolves last weekend.

The Dane replaced his countryman Mathias Jensen, who went off injured after just 37 minutes, and looked lively at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Damsgaard has played 1.6 key passes per 90 minutes this campaign and, even if he doesn't start, will be keen to make an impact off the bench again.

Bryan Mbeumo - £5.8m

With Toney suspended, it will be down to the other Bees forwards to step up in his absence at the City Ground on Saturday.

One of those could be Bryan Mbeumo, who has the second-highest xG (Expected Goals) in the Brentford squad (2.95), behind Toney.

The Cameroon international will be keen to add to his current goals tally before he potentially heads to the World Cup in a couple of weeks.

Best of the rest

Callum Wilson - £7.5m

Callum Wilson

Callum Wilson has been in superb form in recent weeks and was the joint-highest scorer in Gameweek 14, having scored 19 points.

He scored two goals and got two assists in a 4-0 win over Aston Villa last weekend, as well as scoring against Tottenham the week before.

High-flying Newcastle now face Southampton in Gameweek 15, who have kept just one clean sheet this season.

Kieffer Moore - £5.4m

Another, cheaper, striking option is Bournemouth striker Kieffer Moore, who featured in the FPL Team of the Week after a superb performance at the Vitality Stadium.

The former Forest Green, Barnsley and Cardiff striker bagged a brace against top-four chasers Tottenham, who, despite Moore's goals, came from behind to win 3-2 against the Cherries.

It would be hard to drop the Wales international, who will want to continue to impress ahead of the World Cup in a few weeks, against a leaky Leeds United side that have conceded 19 goals in 12 games.

Wildcards

Pervis Estupinan

Pervis Estupiñán - £4.5m

Brighton beat Chelsea 4-1 last weekend, which will see them head into this game against Wolves with confidence, as they look to improve on their current Premier League standing before the winter break.

Pervis Estupiñán has had an inconsistent start to his life on the South Coast but impressed against former boss Graham Potter's side last weekend, recording an assist and picking up seven FPL points.

As for Wolves, they are still yet to appoint a permanent manager after sacking Bruno Lage in early October, and have conceded seven and scored just twice in their last three games.

Lucas Digne - £4.6m

If Estupiñán, doesn't take your fancy, creative Aston Villa defender Lucas Digne could be an option.

New Villa boss Unai Emery will take charge for the first time against Manchester United on Sunday, with the Red Devils coming off the back of a tough Europa League clash against Real Sociedad on Thursday.

Emery is renowned for his defensive football, which will likely lead to more Villa clean sheets, and perhaps the first could come against United, with boss Erik ten Hag admitting his side have "problems" in attack.
