Brentford head coach Thomas Frank has confirmed that goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha is available for the Bees' clash with Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

The Albanian international has not been in the squad since the defeat to Wolves in April, but will return for the trip to north London.

Young keeper Matthew Cox has been on the bench in recent weeks, and Strakosha's availability comes at the perfect time for him, as he can now head to the Under-20 World Cup with England alongside fellow Bee Daniel Oyegoke, after the duo were selected by Ian Foster for the tournament in Argentina.

"Strakosha is back in the team, which is good news because he's been out," Frank stated.

"But it's also good because we think it's the right decision to send Matthew Cox to the Under-20 World Cup. That will be a fantastic experience for him and could be a good stepping stone for his development."

Frank confirmed that everyone else from our win over West Ham last Sunday is available, while Keane Lewis-Potter (knee), Pontus Jansson (hamstring) and Christian Norgaard (Achilles) will miss the remainder of the season.

Looking ahead to our game against Tottenham, which is a 12.30pm kick-off and will be shown live on BT Sport, Frank wants his side to continue their good performances of late, which has seen them win three of their last four games.

"We are going there knowing that Tottenham are a massive team with some good players, so we know it's going to be a challenge," he said.

"But we believe in ourselves, we're in a good place, and we will do our very best to get three points."

The Dane added: "We said from the beginning of the season that we want to have that determination to do everything we can to finish as high as possible.

"We definitely have a lot of things to play for in the last two games, so it's about getting all of our energy out there and giving that final push.

"I'm not going to say we're going to win them because the teams we're going to face are pretty good! But the performance needs to be up there, and I think that shows a lot about the culture you've got."

The nominees for the Premier League Manager of the Season were revealed on Thursday, with Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Roberto De Zerbi (Brighton), Unai Emery (Aston Villa), Pep Guardiola (Manchester City), Eddie Howe (Newcastle United) and Marco Silva (Fulham) all up for the accolade.

And, when discussing the award, Frank was keen to highlight the good work done by another Premier League boss who didn't quite make the shortlist - Bournemouth's Gary O'Neill.

Asked whether he was disappointed not to be nominated, Frank responded: "There's a lot of people behind me that are doing an incredible job that have made this a very successful season for us.

"I think it's more of an indicator of how well we have done. We know, ourselves, that we have had a top season, in many ways.

"I don't know who is on the panel that has decided that six others have done an even better job. I think it's a tough task to be in that and to make that decision.

"Personally, I think another coach who has done incredibly well is Gary O'Neil from Bournemouth. I think he's been fantastic.

"He also came in a little bit later like [Roberto] De Zerbi and Unai Emery - I think they have done well as well.

"But when you look at the foundations they came into compared to the one that Gary had; I think he took over after they had just lost 9-0 to Liverpool at Anfield and everyone doomed them and said they would be relegated.

"I think he's done incredible work there."
