Multiple Brentford first-team players featured for the Bees in a behind-closed-doors defeat to Watford at Jersey Road.
Keane Lewis-Potter, Shandon Baptiste, Charlie Goode and Myles Peart-Harris all started, as they stepped up their recovery from injury.
Ben Mee, Zanka, Vitaly Janelt, Neal Maupay and Ivan Toney also featured in the friendly.
A midfield trio of Janelt, Baptiste and Peart-Harris made it difficult for the Hornets, with the latter impressing as he roamed around the final third.
It was Toney's third appearance since he was allowed to resume training, and the centre-forward netted one of his trademark penalties and contributed with a clever assist for Maupay on Saturday afternoon.
There were also minutes for B-team players Reggie Rose, Tony Yogane, Ethan Brierley, Charlie Farr, Romeo Beckham and Nathan Young-Coombes, who all came on in the second half in west London.
Yogane and Brierley combined for a goal on the hour mark, as the former's cross found his team-mate on the edge of the box, and the midfielder fired a fantastic finish past the Watford goalkeeper.
As well as Brierley, Beckham came on later in the second period and his dangerous deliveries from the right-hand side led to multiple chances for the Bees.
