Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has spoken ahead of his return to Wolves on Saturday, having spent nine years there at the start of his playing career.
The Bees head to Molineux on Saturday (3pm kick-off GMT), where Andrews will also reunite with Rob Edwards, with the two playing together during their time at Wolves during the 2004/05 season.
Andrews said: "It'll be nice to go back. I moved there as a 15-year-old boy and spent nine years there as a player, which was a really special time.
"It's a place I really like going back to. I went back as a player for opposition teams, and then as a coach. I'd also go back pretty frequently when I was with the [Republic of Ireland] national team to watch our players play there.
"I've got a lot of friends who live in the area as well. It will be a bit of a full-circle moment for me, going back there."
On Edwards, he added: "I like Rob a lot, he's a really good guy.
"I've got a lot of admiration for his coaching journey; I'm well aware of what he did at Wolves, with the academy and the under-21s.
"And then what he did at Telford, promotion with Forest Green, and what he did at Luton was pretty spectacular - that will go down forever in their history books, and that shouldn't be forgotten.
"I'm looking forward to seeing him on Saturday."
Wolves are yet to win in the Premier League, picking up two points from 16 games, but Andrews was quick to state that he will not take the division's bottom-placed side lightly.
"It’s going to a really difficult game," the Brentford boss commented.
"I watched a lot of them this morning, and you just need to see the way they played against Arsenal and Villa: they showed a lot of personality and fight to play for the manager and represent the club.
"There’s a lot of pride in what they are trying to do. We certainly won’t underestimate them."
