The draw for round four of the Carabao Cup will take place on the evening of Wednesday 24 September, live on Sky Sports.

Brentford will learn of their round four opponents following the televised fixture between Port Vale and Arsenal (8pm kick-off BST).

The Bees defeated fellow Premier League side Aston Villa 4-2 in a penalty shoot-out following a 1-1 draw at Gtech Community Stadium to progress to this stage, having also won against another top-flight opponent, Bournemouth, in round two.

Round four ties will take place on the week commencing 27 October.

The 16 winners from round three will enter the open draw, which has no regionalisation or seeding.
