Brentford head coach Thomas Frank expects Bryan Mbeumo to be available for selection after the March international break.

The forward has been out since the start of December after picking up an ankle injury in the Bees' 2-1 defeat to Brighton and Hove Albion.

Frank also revealed his hope that both Aaron Hickey and Kevin Schade will be back before the end of the season.

When asked about the current state of his squad, Frank stated: “Nothing has changed from the Manchester City game, everyone from that game is available again, so that's good.

“There’s no big progress with [Kevin Schade and Aaron Hickey]. The only two that are definitely out for the season is Rico Henry and Josh Dasilva; Josh had a very successful surgery two days ago and he’s good.”

Frank added: “I don't have an exact timeframe on Schade, but Bryan is progressing and that's a shorter one, hopefully after the international break.

“Hickey’s setback is in relation to his hamstring.”

After a resilient performance and unfortunate defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday evening, Brentford take on West Ham United on Monday night.

But, having won the last five league games against the Hammers, Frank will not underestimate David Moyes' side, despite the east Londoners' current poor run of form, which has seen them fail to win a game in 2024.

The Bees boss said: "The only thing I know is that that is history. We have a game ahead of us on Monday night, it's going to be very difficult against a good team, good players, and a very good, experienced manager."

He added: "It's the next game ahead for both teams, so it's big! We always want to go out there and get three points, we always want to go out there and perform.

"Every team has a spell throughout the season when they're not perfect, maybe West Ham are going through that spell now.

"I think [Moyes] has done fantastically."
