Mathias Jensen will make his first Premier League start since the opening day of the season for Brentford's game against Chelsea at Gtech Community Stadium.
The Danish midfielder replaces his countryman Mikkel Damsgaard, who misses the west London derby through illness.
"There is illness in the camp. Mikkel isn’t well, and a couple of the coaches as well," confirmed head coach Keith Andrews.
Andrews has made one further change from the 2-1 defeat against Sunderland at Stadium of Light last time out, with Ethan Pinnock introduced in the starting XI in place of Dango Ouattara.
Vitaly Janelt, who hasn't featured since April due to an issue in his heel, is named amongst the substitutes alongside Deadline Day signing Reiss Nelson.
England international Cole Palmer is named amongst the substitutes, alongside new signing Alejandro Garnacho for Enzo Maresca's side, having been absent since the opening weekend through injury.
