The Young Lions face Poland on Friday 1 September at St George's Park, kick-off 2pm before heading to Field Mill, Mansfield, for a game against Germany the following Tuesday, 5 September, kick-off 7.45pm.
Simpson's side are the current Under-19 European Champions after their victory in Georgia over the summer. On their way to that victory, The Germans were beaten 4-1 in the Group stages.
Ellery was part of the England Under-20 squad that was the victorious at the Toulon Tournament over the summer, playing in the 2-1 win over Japan. In total, Ellery has earned four caps at Youth level for his nation, three for the Under-18s and one for the Under-20s.
The 17-year-old is the fourth member of Kevin O'Connor's B Team to receive an international call-up this month after Lukas Talbro and Mads Bech Sorensen, both Denmark, and Theo Archibald for Scotland.
