The goalkeeper joined The Brewers on a season-long loan deal recently and he played a part in their 3-1 win over Nuneaton Borough at Liberty Way.
As is custom in pre-season there were a number of changes with Ellery selected to play the second half of the game. After a goalless first period Albion found the net three times after the break whilst Nuneaton scored late on from the penalty spot.
The breakthrough came on 57 minutes when Omari Patrick slotted home before Kane Hemmings and Joe Powell got themselves on the scoresheet for the League One side.
Next up in pre-season for Burton is a match away against Bognor Regis Town this Saturday in a 1pm kick-off at Nyewood Lane.
