Just before the end of 2020, the EFL issued an update on Covid-19. This has been summarised below. As part of the update there was a Q and A published.

The EFL and its clubs are continually assessing the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, in order to amend and update all relevant training and matchday protocols and procedures. In light of the recent emergence of a new strain of the virus, and to seek to continuously enhance the safety procedures used by Clubs to keep players, staff and (where permitted) supporters safe, a number of ongoing measures are being reviewed and implemented.

As part of the Q and A, the EFL outline current testing procedures, what any changes in Government advice will mean and how compliance with process is monitored. There is confirmation that there is no plan to stop the season for a period and details on fixture postponements and investigations. See the full piece here.
