Brentford's Development Squad have a West London derby of their own this afternoon when Queens Park Rangers travel to Jersey Road in the U21 Professional Development League Two South. The match kicks-off at 1pm and is open to spectators.
Flemming Pedersen's side are currently eighth in the table with 27 points from 23 games after last week's 3-0 defeat at home to Play-Off chasing Millwall. Jamie Philpot opening the scoring late on in the first-half before adding a second at the start of the second-half. The points were secured for The Lions by Kris Twardek on the hour to leave The Bees still searching for a first win of 2016.
Rangers are above Brentford on goal difference after picking up just one point in their last five matches; Charlton Atheltic the latest side to take the three points against The Rs with a 2-0 victory last Monday. Brentford have taken the spoils in both meetings this season so far after a 3-0 league win at Harlington in August and a 2-1 win at Loftus Road in the Premier League Cup in October.
