Brentford's Development Squad go looking for a sixth straight win in all competitions when Sheffield United visit Jersey Road this afternoon in the Under-21 Professional Development League Two. The match, which is open to spectators free of charge, will kick off at The Bees Training Ground at 1pm.
Kevin O'Connor's side are the in form side in the Under-21 PDL South and could climb to the top of the South table after a run which has seen them pick up 11 points in five unbeaten matches. The Bees head into the match off the back of two wins in a week after three goals in injury time secured a remarkable 4-3 success over Watford last Monday before goals from Jermaine Udumaga and Herson Rodrigues Alves put Category One high-flyers Reading out of the Under-21 Premier League Cup last Friday.
Sheffield United are currently sixth in the North section of the Under-21 PDL Two with 13 points from their nine matches so far this season. A 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town last time out ended Chris Morgan's side's three game winning run. The two teams met in Yorkshire last September with United running out comfortable 4-1 winners on that occasion.
There will be coverage of tomorrow afternoon's match on the club's official Twitter account with reports and reaction to follow on www.brentfordfc.co.uk.
