Referee: David Webb

Assistant Referees: Lee Venamore and Nigel Lugg

Fourth Official: Will Finnie

David Webb joined the EFL list as an Assistant in 2006 before graduating to being the main man two years later. Webb represented PGMOL at the Dallas Cup in 2009, spent time refereeing in Australia in 2018, and also refereed the League Two Play-Off Final between Coventry City and Exeter City that same year.

His first game in the top four divisions involved The Bees, as he took charge of our 1-0 defeat at Bury on the opening day of the 2008/09 season.

The Lancashire official has taken charge of 11 Brentford games since then, with the last coming just before Christmas, Wayne Rooney's Derby County holding us to a 0-0 draw on that day.

We're unbeaten in six under Webb, stretching back to August 2015. In that run of games were home wins over Sheffield Wednesday in August 2018 and Derby County a year later, and 3-1 victories at Preston North End in January 2016 and Barnsley in September 2019, a game which saw Ollie Watkins net a hat-trick of headers.

So far this season, Webb has shown 55 yellow cards and four red cards in 21 matches.
