"That was my first 90 for a while," said Henrik. "We brought a lot of First Team players along. It was a good game for us.

"I feel really good, we'll see how it is tomorrow but right now it feels good. The heel feels alright so I should be alright."

Henrik has spent nearly three months watching on from the sidelines after picking up an injury against Birmingham in November. He has been impressed by what he has seen from his teammates.

"They've been doing really well," said Henrik. "Compared to the first few games of the season, we are starting to score our chances and that's the major difference. We've been playing well the whole season but now we are starting to score as well and that's when we get the three points.

"If we can keep scoring our chances, I'm sure we can go for the Play-offs at least. That's what we are aiming at, we're three points away from it now, so keep going and keep believing. I'm sure we have the quality in the squad to do it."

On Sunday, Henrik got a chance to play with new signing and fellow Dane Emiliano Marcondes down the right wing. It's an experience that he seemed to enjoy.

"I don't think our opponents knew what we were talking about," he laughed. "I think we did quite well, got some good connections and we have to build on that."

Asked about his short-term goals of getting back into Dean Smith's squad, Henrik said: "Oh definitely, I can't wait. This was a good step for me, it was good to play 90. I wasn't sure how my lungs would feel but they are actually alright."

Looking further ahead, the World Cup this summer will see Denmark play France, Australia and Peru. Henrik is determined to be a part of the squad that heads to Russia in June.

"It's been a good motivation for me being out," he said. "That's why I want to get back into the squad, to show everyone that I'm ready and fit to play. Hopefully I'll be in the World Cup squad as well but, first things first, I have to play for Brentford."
