Courtney Austin has picked up the Youth Team Goal of the Year prize for his strike in the 4-1 win over Barnsley back in August.

The 17-year-old finished off a flowing one-touch team move with a calm finish as The Bees picked up the three points in Yorkshire.

It would prove to be the strikers only goal of the season, in five appearances, as injury kept him out for much of the remainder of the season.

There was fierce competition for the prize with the Youth Team racking up 59 goals in a successful season for Jon De Souza's side.

A second-placed finish in the Under-18 Professional Development League Two South was followed by an appearance in the U18 PDL Two Play-Off final where they lost out 1-0 to Charlton Athletic.

Eight goals were shortlisted with Courtney's coming out on top from Zain Westbrooke's stunning late volley in a 2-1 win away at Cardiff City in second and Kyjuon Marsh-Brown's goal in a 3-2 win over Charlton Athletic in third.
