Vacancy: Corporate partnerships and Fundraising events manager

(£30-£32,000 per annum according to experience plus performance related bonus)

The Brentford FC Community Sports Trust uses sport as a means to transform lives. They currently deliver more than 6,000 sessions annually in sport, mentoring and education. Whilst many of the sessions involve young people, we engage people of all ages and abilities. As the Trust plan towards the move to a new Community stadium it has ambitious plans to expand its activities.

The Trust is now recruiting a results-driven person with the ability to build corporate partnerships and create new unrestricted income streams. The Trust operates a number of events and initiatives that could be further developed to create funds, such as the annual Brentford Challenge, company team-building events and new match-day lottery. In addition the aim is to develop new events, such as an annual fund-raising dinner. The overarching aim is to build strong, productive relationships with both large and small companies.

The successful candidate will be joining an established team that is passionate about sport and its positive benefits. The Trust has been awarded National Community Club of the Year four times and also won a national award for innovation with its business partners. Brentford FC is also the only professional Football Club to currently hold the highly regarded Business in the Community, Community Mark Award. Whilst Brentford FC Community Sports Trust is established as an independent company limited by guarantee with charitable status, it has a positive relationship with Brentford FC and there may be possibilities of creating mutually beneficial partnerships.

The Trust expects the successful candidate to have some experience in the field of sales and or corporate communication, an understanding of community sport and education as well as an appropriate qualification and evidence of continuous professional development in business studies or a related subject.
