The 2022/23 ePremier League (ePL) finals will take place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 March, which will see some of the world’s best EA SPORTS FIFA 23 players competing to win the title for their club.

This season’s grand final will again take place at Here East in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Players will be competing for a prize pool of £100,000, with the four competitors from the top two clubs earning spots in the FIFA 23 Global Series Play-Offs and Play-Ins.

Continuing the success of the 2021/22 competition, which saw Brentford reach the final, the format of this season’s grand final will once again see each club’s representatives working collaboratively.

The two best players from all 20 Premier League clubs will compete to find out which club will be named ePremier League champions.

Each club will be represented by two players who will take part in a series of one-v-one matches against pairings from other clubs, with one player competing per console.

Brentford’s two representatives for the tournament are xBigStuff (Gary McInnes), who will be playing on Xbox, and AdamRyan (Adam Ryan), on PlayStation.

Adam secured his place in the finals with a 120th-minute winner and revealed that representing Brentford will give him extra confidence and motivation.

“It feels amazing to represent Brentford, he said. "There’s definitely some pressure but that’s the kind of pressure I need to bring the best out of myself.

“I’ve earned this opportunity, the club have been very supportive to me and my team-mate, and now we have the chance to repay them with a good performance at the tournament.

“It also helps I’m competing with one of my best friends. The fact we know each other so well also eliminates nerves.

“We both have 100 per cent trust in each other and have a bond that most other competitors won’t have. I think we can use that to our advantage.”

He added: “Knowing I’m competing in the ePremier League representing Brentford has given me extra confidence, extra purpose to my practice, and definitely added motivation.

“Of course I’m confident we can go all the way and win it. If I wasn’t there would be no point in turning up!

“Our goal is to win and anything less than that is a failure. That’s the mindset I’m currently in.”
