Brentford’s Women's First Team top goal scorer, Chloe Logie, ensured her side left Bedfont Sports Club with all three points after scoring four goals in the LSE Regional WFL Division One North clash on Sunday.

The number nine has now scored 10 goals after just seven games this season and was instrumental in her side picking up the win against Denham.

Following the match, Chloe was pleased withe result and performance. She said: “I thought we played really well as a team, there were times where we let them think they could get back into the game, but overall we controlled the game and put on a good performance.”

The 17-year-old opened the scoring on 22 minutes when teammate, Jodie Reid, played a nicely timed pass through to her which she ran onto and smashed the ball into the back of the net.

Logie’s second came on 57 minutes and was the best of the lot as she found herself in space from 25-yards and struck the ball powerfully into the top right corner, leaving Denham keeper Zara Butt with no chance.

She completed her hat-trick 15 minutes later after following up Demi Edwards’ shot which bounced off the Denham number one and placed perfectly for Logie to tap home from three-yards out.

Her final goal of the day came on 80 minutes as she showed great composure to flick the ball around Butt and into the bottom corner, sealing the victory for her team.

Logie continued: “It was a perfect day for me, I was really unlucky last Sunday not to get a goal so today I definitley made up for it.

“They put a lot of pressure on us in the second half and had some momentum at certain points so it was nice to know that I could help the team put the game to bed.”

Logie then went on to explain how happy she was to play the full 90 minutes on Sunday. “That was my first full game this season, it made me happy that the Manager (Karleigh Osborne) could see how confident I felt out there and kept me on.

“All I want to do is play as much football as possible so to score four goals and stay on the pitch for the whole game was amazing.”
