We are pleased to confirm the signing of Charlie Farr who joins the B Team on a one-year contract with a club option of an additional year.

Charlie signs having been training with Neil MacFarlane’s side in previous weeks and he has also featured as a trialist in recent matches with AFC Wimbledon, Millwall Under-21s and AFC Bournemouth Under-21s.

The 20-year-old departed Villa Park in the summer of 2021 and has built his fitness over the past year, recovering from a long-term knee injury.

Discussing adding Charlie to his squad for the 2022/23 season, Brentford B Head Coach Neil MacFarlane said: “First and foremost Charlie is a top person and he has been in with us for an extended period. He has really impressed us; he has fantastic attributes in terms of his crossing, and we feel that he will really benefit our group.

“He has bought into the team during his time with us and we look forward to working with him over the course of the season because we feel he will definitely add to our group in the dressing room as well as on the pitch.”
