A dominant showing ensured the Women's B Team left Stockwood Park with all three points on Sunday afternoon, taking them to second place in the Greater London WSL Division One North table.

After an impressive 4-0 win last weekend, the Bees were looking to carry this form into the match against a Luton side who are yet to win a game this campaign.

The visitors wasted no time to begin their scoring spree with Madeline Heavingham-Ford getting the first on five minutes.

Kasey Clifford did some great work in the middle of the pitch to find the Brentford number 25 on the left flank, Heavingham-Ford then took the ball inside and curled her shot into the far corner leaving the Luton keeper with no chance.

Just 15 minutes later the Bees were at it again, this time it was Cheyenne Faulkner with the goal after Calli Weaver’s cross went all the way to the back post and the right back was there to tap the ball home.

The Bees were relentless throughout and continued to pin the hosts into their own half causing their back line major discomfort.

The next goal came on 30 minutes with Faulkner the provider this time, the number 18 ran down the right flank crossing in a great ball to the far post with Weaver catching her strike perfectly on the volley, proving too powerful for the Luton keeper who couldn’t keep it out despite getting a strong hand to the ball.

Brentford Captain, Clifford, made it 4-0 three minutes later after she latched onto a clearance from the Luton centre back and decided to have a crack at goal from around 30-yards out.

Moments before half time Heavingham-Ford got her second and Brentford’s fifth through brilliant dribbling ability, getting past three opponents before making her way into the box and calmly slotting her shot into the bottom corner.

As the second half began it was a question of how many were Brentford going to get as the home side looked completely disheartened by the ruthless Bees.

On 56 minutes Ronica Musni got her first goal for the club on her competitive debut, the number 19 was rewarded for pressing the Luton back line forcing their defender into a mistake and hunting down the loose ball.

Musni then curled her shot into the right corner of the goal putting the game completely out of site.

To add insult to injury for Luton they gave away a penalty on 70 minutes after Musni’s shot on goal struck the Luton left back's arm and deemed enough to be a spot kick.

Clifford smashed her penalty straight down the middle giving her side a 7-0 lead with 20 minutes to go.

The final goal of the game came through Charlotte Halpin whose volley from just inside the box lobbed the Luton keeper who had a day to forget to say the least.

Following the result Brentford Women's B Team Manager, Tommy Ryan-Maynard, gave his thoughts on the emphatic victory.

He said: “I was really pleased with the team performance, a lot of the goals we scored were moves that we had worked on in training so that was great to see.

“It was great to see us have a fast start as well this is something that I have been looking for from the girls and I really want them to continue this."
