Brentford open their league campaign on Sunday against Ashmount Leigh at Meadowbank Football Ground in a 3:30 pm kick-off.

The Bees played four times during a pre-season period which saw the side face off against three National League teams in preparation for the new season.

Karleigh Osborne has welcomed seven new arrivals to the squad that finished second in the league last season; Nour Aboul Kheir, Paula Holguin, Aya Mirjan, Ellen Wardlow, Samantha Read, Lucy Bolitho and Ashley Arquette all arrive from clubs who compete in a higher division than the women’s first-team.

Last time out

Brentford’s last fixture saw the side play out a 2-2 draw against National League opponents London Seaward. The Bees were the better side for an hour with Nikki Woods scoring twice for the home side who were playing some great football. London Seaward gained some confidence after pulling a goal back on 62 minutes and managed to level the score line eight minutes from time.
