Brentford Women were victorious on Thursday evening, as they recorded an impressive 4-1 win away at Richmond Park.

The west Londoners put on an excellent display as Jodie Reid and Chloe Logie were on the scoresheet, while Nikki Woods netted a brace for the Bees.

Brentford took the lead early on through Reid, as she struck from distance and found the back of the net.

The lead was short lived though as, straight from kick-off, the home side broke through the Bees' last line of defence, and their striker composed herself to find the back of the net.

It only took three minutes for the lead to be restored and Logie did what she does best, steering a shot into the far corner of the net whilst pressured by a Richmond Park defender.

Woods was having an impressive game and she managed to get herself on the scoresheet driving a fierce shot past the keeper, who was rooted to the spot.

Woods saved the best until last with her second of the game. After a fine team move, the winger took on an audacious volley and found the back of the net, leaving the keeper no chance and giving the Bees their fourth of the game midway through the second period of the game.

There were chances to extend the lead as second-half substitutes Lucy Bolitho and Ellen Wardlaw both had strikes that were saved by the goalkeeper.

That was how the game would end though, as Brentford took the three points.
