Brentford Women B play their second pre-season game on Sunday against AFC Stoneham at the Stoneham Lane Complex in a 2pm kick-off.

The Bees have competed in one pre-season fixture so far where the side played out a 2-2 draw to Hammersmith who compete in the division above.

The side have been hard at work preparing for the new campaign which begins on 3 September against Impact and have welcomed seven new additions to the squad in the summer.

K-Lah Briscoe, Freya Morgan, Evie Witek and Shania Foley were amongst the arrivals as well as previous first team players Laura Miller, Emily Boycott and Orla McComb, who have also given the B team a boost.

Last time out

The B team displayed a positive performance against a Hammersmith side who ply their trade in the league above.

Tommy Ryan Maynard’s side showed early signs of resilience as they fought back twice to secure a 2-2 draw and could have even left with a win when Holly Hawkes got on to the end of a corner, but her headed effort went inches over the bar.
