Brentford Women will make their Wheatsheaf Park debut on Wednesday night when they welcome Richmond Park to the west London ground (7.45pm kick-off).

The clash is another key London South East Division One North game for Karleigh Osborne’s side as they continue their fight for a league title and promotion.

Wheatsheaf Park has been the home of Brentford B and Brentford’s Academy this season, with the teams enjoying plenty of success. Brentford Women will be looking to add to this success with a win of their own.

Richmond Park come into Wednesday’s clash 10th in the league table, with four wins, a draw and 12 losses to their name.

After a tough stretch saw Richmond lose to Whyteleafe 4-1, Sport London E Benfica 8-0 and Clapton Community 7-1, the side has been in better form as of late, drawing 2-2 with Actonians Reserves and falling to Dulwich Hamlet Reserves in a tight game 2-1.

Last time out

Brentford kept their unbeaten start to 2024 going, but their winning streak of 15 games came to an end thanks to a 2-2 draw with Clapton Community.

After going down 1-0, the Bees responded with two goals from Chloe Logie to go 2-1 up on 66 minutes.

An 80th-minute equaliser from Clapton ensured the teams would take home a point each, however, keeping the teams locked at 35 points apiece.
