Brentford Women kick off the London and South East Premier Division season against Aylesford away from home on Sunday (3.30pm kick-off).
Both sides come into the clash at Aylesford Recreation Ground following promotion last term and ready to embark on the challenge of tier five.
New head coach Carly Williams’ side have enjoyed a promising pre-season, with wins coming against Charlton Athletic Under-21s (4-2), Wycombe Wanderers (2-1) and Chesham United (5-0).
While members of last season’s league-winning squad have departed, an influx of new recruits have ensured the west Londoners remain ready to challenge for promotion this season.
New signings Esme Alaneme, Khyri McKenzie, Renai McCrea, Asees Sangha, Maï Louvrier, Ilana Harris-Walters and Cloe O’Brien are all available for Sunday, as well as returning goalkeeper Evie Witek.
