Brentford Women welcome London Seaward to Bedfont Sports Club on Sunday for their final pre-season clash (3pm kick-off).

The game will be the Bees' sixth of their pre-season, the game against another National League opponent leading them into a London South East Division One North campaign.

Head coach Karleigh Osborne has had a clear focus of challenging his side with opponents higher up the football pyramid this pre-season, including London Seaward, fellow National League outfit Dulwich Hamlet, Eastern Region Premier Division side Luton Town and Bristol City’s Under-21s, featuring players who are vying to graduate through to the Championship with the Robins.

Last time out

It was a competitive contest for Brentford last time out, the Bees falling 2-0 to Bristol City U21s under lights at Bedfont Sports Club.

Despite the result, Osborne was pleased with his side’s performance, with new players Ashley Cheatley, Lucy Potter and Carolin Engelhard gaining valuable minutes with their new team-mates to continue building chemistry.

Brentford secured a 3-1 win over Luton Town prior to the Bristol contest, Cheatley, Nikki Woods and Sophie Troth each featuring on the scoresheet for the Bees.
