It’s the first ‘888sport derby’ of the season on Tuesday night, as The Bees host our fellow club partners Nottingham Forest at Griffin Park.

The two sides come into the game on the back of contrasting weekend results, with Brentford continuing their impressive recent home form with a 2-0 victory over Ipswich, and Forest going down 3-0 at Brighton.

That made it three home wins on the bounce for The Bees stretching back to last term, and with Dean Smith’s men having recorded the league double over Forest last term, the 27/20 about the points staying in West London looks like very decent value.

Forest boss Phillipe Montanier has bemoaned transfer speculation surrounding some of his key men, but indicated striker Britt Assombolonga, absent at Brighton, was merely injured and is likely to start on Tuesday.

With 18 goals in 34 league starts, Assombolonga’s return will be a major boost for the away side, and the former Peterborough man can be backed at 23/5 to open the scoring.

Defender John Egan was the Bees’ unlikely hero at the weekend as he bagged a brace, and he can be backed at a massive 30/1 to get the opener again here, with Scott Hogan 9/2 and Romaine Sawyers and Philipp Hofmann 51/10 apiece.

This fixture has rained goals over the years, with 20 in the last five encounters, and if you fancy another high-scoring encounter you can grab 12/5 on 3.5+ goals, 23/4 on more than four and 14/1 on over five.

With dangermen on either team, 19/25 on both to score looks a given, while Brentford to score in both halves pays 51/20.
