THE MATCH
Brentford v Millwall, Sky Bet Championship, Griffin Park, March 21 2015
THE OFFICIALS
Referee: Fred Graham
Assistants: Ian Cooper and Andrew Laver
Fourth Official: Gavin Ward
Mr Graham first refereed a Brentford game back in November 2004, the 2-1 defeat against Bradford City.
The Essex official sent off Deon Burton and Bradford’s Zema Abbey and – after being demoted back off the Football League list at the end of that season only to return a year later – did not referee a Bees game again until March 2008, the 4-1 loss to Bury.
He was in charge when Brentford drew with Gillingham in March 2009 and at Colchester United in 2011 and he sent off Charlie MacDonald – and Josh Gowling – when The Bees won 1-0 at Gillingham on Boxing Day in 2009.
He took charge of Brentford’s 2-0 defeat to Milton Keynes Dons in November 2010 and sent off Pim Balkestein for two bookable offences in the dying stags of the game.
His last six Brentford games have been at Griffin Park – a win over Leyton Orient in March 2011, a 4-0 defeat to Huddersfield Town in October 2011 and two in the 2013/14 season, the 1-0 victory over Oldham Athletic, a 0-0 draw with Walsall and a 3-2 win over Peterborough United in November 2013.
His last Brentford match was the 4-2 Boxing Day defeat to Ipswich Town.
