Brentford are back in action at the Gtech Community Stadium. Brighton are the visitors, with the match kicking off at 8pm on Friday, live in the UK on Sky Sports.

Bring your scarves

Thomas Frank has called on every Brentford fan coming to the game to bring a scarf with them to create a sea of red and white.

Under the lights, Brentford’s head coach wants us all to experience another atmosphere to remember and has urged Bees supporters to help create a magic moment ahead of the game on Friday night.

“On Friday night, when the boys come out of that tunnel against Brighton, we would like to see red and white scarves everywhere when we play Hey Jude.

“I always say ‘us’, that means you guys, the players, all of us can create an unbelievable atmosphere when we're all at it.

“Let's do everything we can to create another amazing, magic moment together.”

Roadworks on the A4 Great West Road and M4

The roadworks continue on the Cromwell Road Railway Bridge. Due to this, there will be a series of lane closures and full directional closures on the A4 between Chiswick roundabout and Hogarth roundabout.

Until 23 October, the M4 Chiswick flyover is also reduced to one lane between junction 3 and junction 1 eastbound causing significant delays.

Local journeys may take longer than usual. If possible, consider alternatives, including tube and rail services, walking and cycling.

If you have to use these routes, allow more time for your journey and travel at quieter times if possible.More info here

Pakistan floods appeal

At the game we will be fundraising for the Pakistan flood appeal being run by the Disasters Emergency Committee. Shandon Baptiste has encouraged the Brentford community to support the people of Pakistan, millions of whom has been severely impacted by the devastation caused by the flooding.

“It’s an emergency situation,” he said, “when these things happen, we need to come together, be as one, and help where possible.

“We want to raise awareness to the terrible situation over there, so more people can show their support. If we can just get the information out there, it will help them massively.

“If you are in a position to give, please do. Your help will make a huge difference.”
