After the disappointment of a double defeat to Norwich City two weeks ago Brentford ‘A’ team return to the court this afternoon in Barking to face Peterborough United.
The Bees know that a win is essential today if they wish to remain with a chance to qualify for the end of season League One playoffs.
Court time has been limited since the last fixture due to injuries and Brentford will be missing three players today.
Due to the injuries Brentford have conceded their 'B' team game to Southend United but will play them in a friendly after their 'A' team game.
The Bees will have the advantage of having a full bench.
Head Coach Luis Melville said: "Mason Roseboom is still a couple of weeks away from resuming training.
"We hope the other two players will be available for our next league game but may miss out on The Soccer AM Cup.
"I’d like to thank Ose Aibangee [Brentford FC Academy Director] and his medical staff for their assistance with Mason’s recovery.
"They have been excellent and a pleasure to work with.
"Our advantage today is that we will have more players on the bench as all will play for the 'A' team.
"This will give us more options depending on the state of the game.
"We will be very offensive against Peterborough as we know we have to win."
The big game of the day in League One sees Brighton and Hove Albion, in second place, take on unbeaten Chelsea.
Norwich City take on Southend, while the bottom two, Crawley Town and Leyton Orient, go head to head.
