Brentford B will seek their first win in this season’s Premier League Cup when they face Burnley Under-21s at Victory Park on Saturday at 12.30pm.
Neil MacFarlane’s side will be looking to build on a 2-2 draw with Como 1907 on Tuesday against a Burnley side that claimed a 4-3 win over Leicester City to open their Premier League Cup campaign.
The young Bees raised the Premier League Cup trophy last season for the first time, however started this season’s competition with a loss to Fulham in September.
Brentford B have never faced the Clarets in their short history at any level. The young Bees will be hoping to earn a first win over Burnley come Saturday to start their rise back towards top of Group G in the Premier League Cup.

Burnley U21s have enjoyed a solid start to their 2023/24 season, with four wins, two draws and two losses across all competitions, most recently recording a 1-1 draw with Fleetwood Town U21s.
Joe Westley starred in the Clarets' 4-3 win over Leicester City earlier this season, netting twice, while Lewis Richardson was able to record a goal and an assist in the game.
Burnley are yet to enjoy success in the Premier League Cup’s short history, the Clarets were unable to make it out of the group stage in any of the past four seasons.
Their best result in the competition came in the 2018/19 season when they lost in the quarter-final stage 3-1 to Leeds United.
