Brentford B finished their travels with a 0-0 draw against OGC Nice on Saturday in a behind-closed-doors fixture.

Neil MacFarlane made four changes to the starting line-up that lost 4-1 to AS Monaco Group Elite on Wednesday, goalkeeper Reggie Rose, Angel Waruih, Ji soo Kim and Ethan Laidlaw all coming into the starting line-up.

Ashley Hay got the young Bees off to a good start, the lone goal scorer for Brentford in Wednesday's clash against Monaco nearly added a second goal to his name within the opening 10 minutes of play.

The game remained an even contest across the opening half-an-hour, Brentford goalkeeper Reggie Rose able to deflect any real Nice chances when called into action.

Iwan Morgan probably had Brentford's best chance of the first half when the forward found himself in behind the Nice backline, but the strikers shot was well saved by the Nice keeper.

Hay was back in the action soon after, the forward finding himself in a great position and firing a powerful shot that called the Nice keeper into action again.

Coming out of the break still 0-0, both sides continued to attack and look for an opening goal as the second 45 minutes got under way.

Ethan Laidlaw looked a threat for the young Bees on the left flank with the forward using his pace to trouble the Nice defence.

Nice felt they could have won the game when a Brentford back pass was pounced upon but Rose was on call to make a great save ensuring a 0-0 draw.

Brentford B: Rose, Dickov (Lisbie, 75'), McManus, Waruih (Zabeli, 75'), Fredrick (Headman, 85'), Ji soo, Hay (Holland, 62'), Brierley (Beckham, 75'), Morgan, Owen (Booth, 75'), Laidlaw (Yogane, 75')
