Brentford Football Club are pleased to announce the permanent signing of Romeo Beckham from Inter Miami on a one-year contract, with a club option of an additional year.

Beckham, who spent the second half of the 2022/23 campaign on loan in west London, has now agreed to join Neil MacFarlane’s side on a permanent deal.

The 20-year-old was part of the B team squad that went on to lift the Premier League Cup in May, and he also featured for the young Bees against teams such as Monaco, as well as AIK Fotboll and Halmstads BK in the Atlantic Cup.

In total, Beckham featured 15 times for the young Bees during his time on loan from the MLS outfit. He netted once against National League side Wealdstone, helping his his side to a late 3-2 victory in the Middlesex Senior Cup.

The youngster put pen to paper on a loan deal with Brentford in January after gaining experience with Inter Miami II earlier last year, where he played 20 times and grabbed 10 assists.

Brentford B head coach Neil MacFarlane said: “We added Romeo to our squad in January and he’s been fantastic for the group.

"He’s had a terrific end to the season in terms of his recent match against Manchester City, where he showed what he’s learned during his loan with us.

“We’ve continued to develop him in and out of possession and we look forward to him coming back in good spirits to continue working with him next season.”
