The Swedish youngster signed for The Bees from Akropolis IF in January 2019. Fredrik recovered from injury frustration which hampered him during the early stages of the 2019/20 season having spent time with the First Team in pre-season.

Having returned to fitness with Brentford B, Fredrik made his First Team debut on Saturday 4 January against Stoke City in the Emirates FA Cup, becoming yet another B Team player to feature for the first team.

The midfielder played 22 times under Neil MacFarlane last season as Brentford B toured across Europe, played in cup matches against men’s sides as well as friendlies in the UK.

After making his debut for the First Team, Fred was presented with a shirt by First Team Head Coach Thomas Frank in January 2020.

He managed to get himself on the scoresheet five times over the course of the season, turning provider for his teammates on two occasions. The tenacious youngster played 1334 minutes for the side prior to the season being cut short due to the lockdown related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In total since joining, Fred has played 38 times for Brentford B with seven goals to his name. Having been in training with Thomas Frank’s side during the restart of the 2019/20 season, Fred will be aiming to spend as much time as possible in and around that environment going into a new campaign.
