At 16 Fin had broken into Adam Hinshelwood’s side and had an impressive 2019/20 season in the Isthmian League Premier Division. Fin was part of a Worthing side who found themselves top of the league before it was declared null and void following the COVID-19 outbreak.

He had spent time in Arsenal’s youth sides before departing at the age of 15 and finding himself at the non-league club. Despite initially joining Worthing’s Under-18s, his talent ensured that he would force his way into Adam Hinshelwood’s team.

Having managed to break into the side on a regular basis from January, Fin managed to net his first goal for the club away from home in a 2-1 win over Carshalton. His last match prior to the lockdown saw him feature for the side in early March as they beat Wingate & Finchley 4-1 at The Crucial Environmental Stadium.

Arriving at Brentford, the 17-year-old will have the opportunity to work under Neil MacFarlane and his coaching staff as they aspire to help the youngster to develop well in the coming seasons.

Fin got his first taste of Brentford B action on Saturday in the side’s first match of pre-season. Playing at full back, the youngster looked dangerous going forward and will be looking to get more minutes under his belt in the coming weeks.
