Brentford FC Community Sports Trust will be holding separate trials for their Boys and Girls Football Development Centres at Swift Road, Southall, during the October half term holidays. The Boys trials will be hold on Monday 24 October with the Girls trial on Tuesday 25 October.

The Trust runs the Girls Development Centre out of Swift Road in Southall with the Boys also training there on separate nights. There is also a venue at Twickenham Academy for the boys. This is a great opportunity for players already with grassroots football clubs to receive extra coaching adding to what they already get. We also welcome players to trial who may not be with a grassroots team.

The Boys' FDC was set up in 1999 and has developed with a good quality match programme to supplement the extra coaching. The Girls' GDC is now in its second season and has grown rapidly in the first 12 months. The Girls GDC played in a match day programme last season and will go into this season with a full holiday match programme.

Players are generally recruited from the Trust’s various programmes that it delivers in the local community. However, this is an opportunity for talented players or those with the potential to develop, who don’t attend any of our sessions, to take part in a trial, to be a part of this growing programme.

There are some exciting opportunities for Under 15/16 male players involving an education and playing programme.

Applications are now open for our trials.
