The Bees return home for Saturday’s clash against Millwall, after two away trips and a 1-0 victory is priced at 7/1 at LeoVegas SPORT.
Even in defeat, there were still positives to take for Brentford. They matched Norwich's shot count and even managed more possession and passes, but it is just that final ball which seems lacking, as Neal Maupay will agree. The Championship top scorer hit the crossbar in the second half following a flowing move by Brentford but was unable to find an equaliser.
Dan Bentley did very well to keep Brentford in the game by saving Jordan Rhodes' penalty on the stroke of half time. The save came at the right time, offering a huge positive to take into the dressing room, however by the end of the 90 Brentford were unlucky not to find the net. Bentley is now 47/20 to keep a clean sheet with Brentford winning to nil against Millwall.
Millwall sit two points below Brentford in the Championship table but have won their last two games, notably hitting three against Ipswich last Saturday. The home support will be the key as Frank craves his first victory.
Leo's Prediction: Brentford 1-0 Millwall
Goalscorer: Neal Maupay is our man. The top scorer came close against Norwich and is at 17/5 to score first.
Top Tip: Brentford are getting close to that all-important first win under Frank, so we are expecting a good start at home on Saturday. Brentford are priced at 3/1 to go in 1-0 at the break.
